Orfit® Classic material is non-coated and sticks easily to itself and outrigger attachments. The material bonds temporarily during fabrication, then permanently when exposed to dry heat. When the material is ready for molding it turns transparent which allows provides visibility during the fabrication process.

This orthosis gives an extremely comfortable immobilization and stabilization of the complete thumb column. It can serve for the treatment of De Quervain tenosynovitis, rheumatoid arthritis, basal joint osteoarthritis, thumb sprain and pre- or post- operative thumb management.
